Kajabi Sale! Get the "2X Impact" Plan During Semi-Annual Sale

kajabi Mar 15, 2019

Note: This is an older blog post. Kajabi has announced that as of 11-30-19, they will no longer offer discounts of any kind. They want potential customers to know that the standard price is the best price and not to waste time hunting for discounts, rather to sign up knowing they already have the best price. Therefore, as a Kajabi referral partner/affiliate, I can no longer offer discounts but instead an extended free trial (28 days vs 14 days on Kajabi's own home page) plus some bonuses any time you sign up using my LINK. Thanks!

I'm in a lot of business- and entrepreneurial-related Facebook groups. If I had a dime for every time someone asked, "What's the best platform for selling courses, products, or memberships?", I'd be a rich, rich woman, yo. My answer is always "KAJABI" .

There are lots of options and I've studied them all. I've used some of them and some I haven't bothered because I could tell they'd be a waste of my valuable time. I was a data and budget analyst for...

Kajabi How To: Add a Pinterest "Pin It" Button to Your Blog Images

kajabi blogging pinterest Feb 28, 2019

As we've talked about before, using Pinterest to build your blog audience - and therefore market your Kajabi products and services - is CRUCIAL, especially for female creatives. 'Cuz guess who hangs out on Pinterest? Yep. YOUR PEOPLE.

So when people visit your Kajabi blog via Google, social media posts, etc., you want to make it super easy for them to Pin your articles. I personally use a Chrome extension that allows me to easily Pin from any website - but I'm an online marketer. I doubt most users of Pinterest do that.

Ideally, you the blogger enable a "Pin It" button on all your blog images so anyone can Pin away! As with many things on your Kajabi blog, you'll find, well, "there's no plugin for that!" Guess who found another solution? Ya' girl Erika, that's who!

Here's how to enable a Pinterest "Pin It" button on your Kajabi blog. In fact, it'll work on your whole site, yee haw!

1. Go to Pinterest widget builder.

2. Set up your button the way...

Kajabi Quick Tip: Add a Cookie Consent Banner to Your Site

kajabi quick tip Feb 06, 2019

Ever since the "GDPR Panic" of May 2018, we've all been getting our sites in compliance, right? One thing you may still need to add to your Kajabi website is a cookie consent banner. Basically, it let's all your visitors know that your site does use cookies and what your policies are regarding them.

How to Add a Cookie Consent Banner to Your Kajabi Site

1. Go to https://www.websitepolicies.com/create/cookie-consent-banner. It's open source and free.

2. Using the Configuration Wizard, set up 1. Position, 2. Layout, and 3. Colors to your liking.

3. For 4. Cookie Policy, you can paste in the link to your existing one. For instance, my cookie policy is part of my Privacy Policy, so I pasted the link to my Privacy Policy page here.

If you don't have a cookie policy or would like to have one separate from your privacy policy, it appears you can generate one here on the site. It says it's free but please note that when I got to this...

It was a huge decision. I analyzed, then I lost sleep, then I over-analyzed, asked friends, did more research, and finally I made the decision. A Review of Feminine Stock Photo Memberships & How I Chose One ...

Creative entrepreneurs and coaches can really benefit from buying a feminine stock photo membership. Images for your blog, website, social media, and products are so important to get right and help to establish your branding.

Why Do I Need a Feminine Stock Photo Membership Anyway?

There are lots and lots of stock photo sites out there, which have a huge variety of images. Some of my favorites are Unsplash, Pixabay, and Pexels. I use those sites to source free images for use in general blogging, social media posts, client's sites, etc.

But for this website, I really want to appeal to my target demographic: creative entrepreneurial women. Therefore, I need 2 things that I can't get on the types of sites mentioned above.

First, I need quick and easy access to feminine, creative, office- and technology-related images; not just flat lays but some with women in them too. Second, I need "brand builder" sets of photos, which have a consistent look...

Kajabi How To: Add Disqus Comments to Your Blog Posts

One of the most valuable pieces of the course and membership platform Kajabi is its blogging feature. If you want to improve the SEO of your Kajabi site (i.e., get it to rank higher in search engines so customers find you), blogging at least weekly and using your key words is crucial. Once you get your Kajabi blog set up, adding the ability to leave comments is also important; it increases a sense of community and is a great way to be responsive and interactive with your readers.

On your Kajabi blog, there are 2 main ways to enable Comments, i.e., to give readers the ability to leave comments on your blog posts.

  1. Facebook comments
  2. Disqus comments

As you see at the bottom of this post, for my ErikaFriday.com blog, I've chosen to use Facebook comments. In the "tips" at the end of this article, you'll see some of my objections to Disqus and why I don't usually use it. [Update 08-27-20: I'm now giving Disqus comments a try on this site].

However, on another site I...

One of the best ways to get traffic to your Kajabi site is via Pinterest. You may think of Pinterest as "just for fun" or a "social media channel" but it's actually a huge search engine; it just happens to have a lot of pretty pictures :)

Should Your Business Be on Pinterest?

Just like with Google, YouTube, and Amazon, when people are looking for information about a topic or product, they search on Pinterest. Don't believe me? The stats don't lie, baby.

According to Pinterest's own statistics:

I'm a Kajabi Konvert

  • I'm also a proud Kajabi affiliate! I believe in this product and this company so much that I've chosen to center my business around them. Please know that any Kajabi-related links in the rest of this post are my affiliate links* - and they...
