One of the most valuable pieces of the course and membership platform Kajabi is its blogging feature. If you want to improve the SEO of your Kajabi site (i.e., get it to rank higher in search engines so customers find you), blogging at least weekly and using your key words is crucial. Once you get your Kajabi blog set up, adding the ability to leave comments is also important; it increases a sense of community and is a great way to be responsive and interactive with your readers.
On your Kajabi blog, there are 2 main ways to enable Comments, i.e., to give readers the ability to leave comments on your blog posts.
As you see at the bottom of this post, for my ErikaFriday.com blog, I've chosen to use Facebook comments. In the "tips" at the end of this article, you'll see some of my objections to Disqus and why I don't usually use it.
However, on another site I just started, I chose to use Disqus comments instead of Facebook...
Welcome to my blog post series about using Pinterest with Kajabi! If you'd like to see all the articles on this topic, either click HERE or click the topic "Pinterest" in the right sidebar.
One of the best ways to get traffic to your Kajabi site is via Pinterest. You may think of Pinterest as "just for fun" or a "social media channel" but it's actually a huge search engine; it just happens to have a lot of pretty pictures :)
ErikaFriday.com participates in various affiliate programs. That means if you click on an affiliate link and end up making a purchase from that site, I may receive compensation. I only share products and sites I use, like, and/or believe will be beneficial to you.
Just like with Google, YouTube, and Amazon, when people are looking for information about a topic or product, they search on Pinterest. Don't believe me? The stats don't lie, baby.
According to Pinterest's own statistics:
What is Kajabi? It's a platform to easily sell your content online - courses, e-books, membership site, coaching groups, services, even physical products. It's an all-in-one solution that let's you have everything under one roof: website, blog, landing, sales, and checkout pages, e-mail marketing system, funnels, webinars, and more. It's pretty amazing, actually.
Note: This post was originally written in 11/2017 and has been updated in 03/2018, 10/2018, and 12/2018.
And proud of it! Heh. That was kind of obnoxious, right? But I'm totally serial. I discovered New Kajabi in December 2016 and, after taking a walk-through with a free trial, decided pretty quickly that THIS was my new best friend.
I discovered Kajabi in December of 2016, signed up, and have never looked back. The platform and its capabilities, continuously added features, second-to-none customer service, and amazing leadership has me hooked. Kajabi does it all: Courses, memberships, email marketing, funnels, evergreen and live webinars, website, blog, landing pages, checkout pages, and more.
I believe in Kajabi so much, I now run my entire business using Kajabi and their Black Friday/Cyber Monday offer is the only I'm promoting. (Speaking of which, please note that all links in this article are Referral partner links which means, if you click on a link and make a purchase, I may receive a commission for having referred you).
In 2009, Kajabi launched and became one of the first online business platforms to help people monetize their expertise. Over the last 9 years, they have continued to innovate and adapt to the ever-changing world of online business, redefining...

This year, I've curated 114 planners for you to check out! I'll add more 2019 planners as I hear of them, so this number will rise. Let's see how many we can add to this post for 2019 - wahoo! If you know of any planners I’ve missed, please leave a comment below - or send me a note at [email protected] - and I'll add them.

I'll explain a little more about Kajabi, in case it's new to you. Kajabi is an all-in-one platform for running your online business. Instead of piecing together, say, a Wordpress site + an email...
One of the best things about being an online entrepreneur is that we get to work from home, right? But sometimes that gets lonely, distracting, or downright claustrophobic. Here are 8 places creative entrepreneurs can get out of the house and work.
After being cooped up inside so much, it can be really nice to not only leave the 4 walls of your home office but to also get outdoors. My first suggestion isn't that far from home; it's actually AT home :) How about your own backyard, front yard, porch, or patio? You can set up with your laptop and mobile phone at a patio table, Adirondack chair with a comfy pad, or a chaise lounge (this seems like the ultimate in luxury, doesn't it? You deserve it!). Another option would be to spread a blanket on the grass with pillows to support your back or sit criss-cross-applesauce.
Pros: Access to drinks and food; ability to recharge your devices; a new perspective including things...
The tag line for ErikaFriday.com is "Authentic Online Marketing for Female Creative Entrepreneurs." Is that you? Are you in the right place?
When I started the site, I had my own list in my head about what professions I considered to be creative entrepreneurs. To make sure I was on the right track - and wasn't leaving anyone out - I posted a survey in an online business Facebook group and here's the list we crowdsourced:
brand strategist/branding expert
creative virtual assistant (VA)
digital product designer
novel and non-fiction writers
social media manager/strategist

I’ve scoured the interwebs and found 101 planners for you to check out! Each planner name is a link to the website for that planner so you can learn more about it. Some of these are affiliate links. This means if you click the link and make a purchase, I may receive a small commission for having referred you. I also have included a few discounts!
I've been doing my "mega planner post" for 3 years now and each year the offerings change a bit. Some...
I started following Jessica Turner's blog, The Mom Creative, because we have a lot in common so I enjoy reading her stuff. We're both moms who work at home, we're bloggers, and we love taking photos.
I enjoyed following her journey as she published her first book called The Fringe Hours: Making Time for You.
Here's a blurb about it:
For the woman who is doing everything for everyone--except herself: Ever get to the end of the day and realize you did nothing for you? In this practical and liberating book, Jessica N. Turner empowers you to take back the fringe hours--those little pockets of time you already have in your day--in order to make time for your passions and practice self-care. Based on original research, The Fringe Hours helps you overcome common hurdles that prevent women from taking time for themselves regularly. You'll also discover tips for maximizing the time you have and discover how living this lifestyle makes you a better wife, mother, and friend....
